Singer Radka Fišarová has the pleasure to invite her viewers to her performance in Český Krumlov which will take place in the Kooperativa Garden on 26th July, with the following words, “Our concert is based on the songs of Edith Piaf, whom I have been singing for 17 years already, thanks to the performance Edith – the Sparrow from the Suburbs (in Czech “Edith – vrabčák z předměstí”). However, as time went by, also other interpreters and composers, such as Charles Aznavour, Brel, Mathieu, captured our, and the musicians’ attention. We extended the repertoire and after some more time we started discovering beautiful Czech lyrics and musicalized poems. For example, Jiří Žáček will appear in our program several times. In the end we also included our own production and the mapping of all of the above resulted in the CD Rendez-vous, which was managed, in terms of music and arrangement, by Aleš Březina, a leading Czech musical composer. Non-standard arrangements and perspectives of chansons are a sort of link, the program includes film music. However, we certainly do not play theatrical, dramatic chanson, perhaps just a very tiny bit;, on the other hand there is humour and grace.” The concert will take place at the Kooperativa Garden at 8.30 p.m. on 26st July.
