Colorful People
A dynamic Czech-Slovak multi-genre trio combining various musical influences, which began its musical journey at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory in Prague. Driven by a passion for Latin-American music, they set off for Brazil, where they won a full scholarship to the renowned music institute "Escola de Choro Raphael Rabello" in Brasília. This charming group performs all over the world. Besides their home countries, Slovakia and the Czech Republic, they have performed in the USA, Canada, Brazil, Peru, India, Armenia, as well as in European countries such as Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Poland and others. The band is an embodiment of the new wave of music in the contemporary Czech music scene based on the fusion of world music, samba, bossa nova, jazz and folk styles. Beautiful songs are delivered with instrumental ease and simplicity. "One of the most promising young groups of the contemporary Czech-Slovak music scene. Versatile musicians and singers who know neither playing limits nor genre boundaries and enchant at first listen." David Gaydečka (director of Metronome Prague and United Islands of Prague festivals)
