Almost 800 artists including Plácido Domingo, more than 8,000 visitors to the main programme including well-known names and at least 7,200 more guests to the Festival Zone with concerts, creative workshops, talks with artists, lectures, films, exercises and theatre. This is the balance sheet of the International Music Festival, which took place in Český Krumlov from 12 July to 3 August 2024. During the 23 days, at least 16,000 people visited the 33rd edition. More than 40 concerts took place in 13 venues, 3 of which were premieres. All in the spirit of the motto Muses inspiring and creating.Feelings of the visitors to the musical feast? Enthusiasm! The fact that even a traditional event can be approached in a new way and with fresh energy, hidden talents and locations can be shown, different areas of art can be connected and the city and other areas of the South Bohemian Region can be lit up with emotions.
