Bohemia Voice
The quartet was founded on the initiative of singer and actress Elin Špidlová. The stable composition of the band consisting of soprano – Zuzana Seibertová, mezzosoprano – Elin Špidlová, tenor – Bronislav Palowski and bass-baritone – Milan Malinovský, comes up with a new dramaturgy for concerts with philharmonic orchestras every year. From the latest let us mention: A Tribute to Barbra Streisand & Elle Fitzgerald, A Tribute to Broadway Melodies by Leonard Bernstein, the Program Voice of the Heart – song cycles by A. Dvořák, L. Janáček, B. Martinů and others, by means of which the quartet expresses its relationship to the roots and love for the home country.
The songs in the programs are arranged especially for Bohemia Voice. Mainly American arrangers are involved in the arrangements; the quartet also cooperates with Czech arrangers including Tomáš Ille and Michal Worek. The quartet has many concerts with Czech and Slovak philharmonic orchestras to its credit; the furthest they have performed was on a tour in India.
