Budvicense
The chamber ensemble Budvicense was founded in 2006 when Lenka, Markéta, and Martin Týml were studying at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. They achieved considerable success in the competition for chamber ensembles which was part of the international masterclasses of the Sommerakademie Prag-Wien-Budapest, where they won first prize in one of the categories of the competition. Since then, the ensemble has been regularly performing on concert stages in the Czech Republic as well as abroad. In 2017 Budvicense went on a two-week tour of China.
Besides joint concerts with the chamber ensemble, the different members also appear in solo performances. They have cooperated with numerous orchestras including the South Czech Philharmonic, Pilsen Philharmonic, Košice State Philharmonic Orchestra, Hradec Králové Philharmonic Orchestra, and PKF – Prague Chamber Orchestra. They have given concerts as soloists and chamber players on Czech and foreign stages, for example, in Leipzig, Dresden, Vienna, Baden, Reichenau, Kaunas, Zagreb, and Passau.
