Academy of Chamber Music
The Academy of Chamber Music is dedicated to the promotion of young talents from the Czech Republic and education in the field of chamber music. Teaching is carried out in the form of projects during which scholarship holders prepare a programme together with lecturers, which they perform together at several follow-up concerts. Each year the Academy provides scholarships to selected students. It has an international dimension thanks to the close cooperation with the German Villa Musica Rheinland-Pfalz Foundation, which provides an opportunity for Czech participants to meet and perform together on stage with top students and teachers from German universities. Each season, Villa Musica Foundation teachers are accompanied by selected teachers and soloists from the Czech Republic, such as Josef Špaček, Jan Mráček, Jan Mach, Přemysl Vojta, etc. The projects of the Chamber Music Academy are organized with the support of the Czech-German Future Fund, the Central Bohemia Region, the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic and others.
