Castle Park
An integral and the most extensive part of the castle grounds is the Baroque garden (park) founded in the second half of the 17th century. It is located on a hill and slope adjacent to the south-western side of the fifth courtyard of the castle. It consists of four parts: the terrace of the so-called ‘Steppe Garden’, the terrace of the so-called ‘Summer Riding Hall’ lined with a backdrop of mature lime trees, the terrace of the so-called ‘Lower Parterre’ with a hint of reconstructed rococo decoration and a cascading fountain, and the terrace of the so-called ‘Upper Garden’ with a free garden, a music pavilion, a rococo Bellarie summer house and a square castle pond.
