Summer Riding Hall

The Baroque gardens of the Český Krumlov Castle also include a unique concert venue called the Summer Riding Hall. The precise rectangular area is lined with mature lime trees from the early 18th century, when the Krumlov estate was managed by the first generation of the Schwarzenberg family. The Summer Riding Hall was used for teaching horse riding, playing ball games, and there was also a covered skittle alley. Today, this picturesque space hosts wedding ceremonies and other social and cultural events, from garden parties and theater performances to ballet performances and concerts. The location itself offers a magnificent view of the meandering Vltava River and the charming medieval streets of Český Krumlov. An evening that combines all the colors of musical stories with a romantic setting is sure to touch your heart.
